Safe Haven Adult Living

What is Safe Haven Adult Home?
Safe Haven Adult Home proposes to develop a level 4I staff operated residential care facility for
developmentally disabled male or female adults. This facility will operate 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
The purpose of our facility is to provide professional services in the areas of self-sufficiency through
learning daily living skills and behavior management.
We provide the necessary support for adults with various behaviors or self-care deficits, in a loving
family setting. Staff will increase the development of various self-care skills, reduce and/or eliminate
maladaptive behaviors and replace them with appropriate ones. Our consumers will have as many
opportunities as possible to make choices about how the home is run and the activities that everyone is
involved in. All our staff will be highly trained and experienced in working with the individuals placed in
our facility.
Safe Haven Adult Home believes that recreation and social activities, meeting with family and friends,
learning new things and being treated with kindness and care are essential for all individuals. It is the
intent of our facility to provide these opportunities in a family environment with loving care and
supervision. By doing this we hope to significantly improve the quality of our consumer’s lives and assist
them to feel as good as they possibly can about themselves.
